What is vegetable tanned leather?

Cooper & Quint collars and leashes are made exclusively from vegetable-tanned leather. This process utilizes natural tanning agents from plants, leaves, and bark instead of chemical tanning agents. This results in a leather that not only ages beautifully but is also better for the environment and your dog's skin.

Vegetable-tanned leather has a warm, natural color that only enhances with age and use. It is free of harmful substances such as chrome VI, nickel, or azo dyes and is also biodegradable.

Important information regarding returns

You can remove this product from its packaging and hold it next to your dog or cat to see if the size is right. For hygiene reasons, these products that have been in contact with your pet cannot be returned. If a returned product shows signs of use—such as hair, odor, stains, or wear—we cannot resell it. In that case, the product will not be returned but will be donated to a local charity, and we cannot refund it. Thank you for your understanding!
