Curcumin is one of the active substances in Curcuma Longa, turmeric.
Curcumin has a very broad range of action. Curcumin has a strong antioxidant effect, can remove heavy metals, strengthens the immune system and has an anti-inflammatory effect. In addition to curcumin, there are other curcuminoids in turmeric and it contains oils and vitamins C, E and K, Calcium, Potassium, Iron and Manganese.

Because the liposomal curcuma is now distributed via the lymph to the organs and bloodstream, it prevents the breakdown in the liver. This allows the curcumin to be better absorbed, but also better distributed in tissues. It can also pass through the Blood Brain Barrier using the liposomal technique.

• Instructions for use
  • Capsules can be opened and mixed with food.
  • Capsules can also be administered whole

• Contraindications
  • Turmeric has a blood thinning effect. Use before surgery is not recommended.
  • Turmeric can increase bile production, but its use is not recommended in case of gallbladder inflammation or gallstones.
  • Turmeric contains relatively many oxalates which can create bladder and kidney stones.
• Side effects
  • Overdose may cause gastrointestinal irritation, diarrhea and constipation.
  • Overdose can bind iron and lead to anemia.
• Interactions
  • It may enhance the effect of regular blood thinners.
  • Affects sugar metabolism.
