Humus is the result of a natural decomposition of plant and animal material in the soil. This process can take years to millions of years. Humus consists of different substances; fulvic acid, humic acid and humin. Through a fermentation process with enzymes and bacteria, the fulvic acid is separated from the humic acid.

Fulvic acid is a naturally occurring substance known to transport minerals, vitamins, trace elements and metals to body cells. It can also absorb and remove heavy metals from the body.

Humus or humic acid is already bound to minerals and metals. This makes humic acid a source of metals and trace elements.

Both have an effect on the absorption and processing of metals and trace elements in the body. This can be positive, but also negative because it can bind certain metals, so that they are no longer part of the metabolism and can lead to deficiencies. The humus used in our product has been tested for contamination with heavy metals and will therefore not contribute to a negative effect in any case.

What do we use this product for:
Humic acid and fulvic acid have the property to improve intestinal health; specifically to restore the connections between the intestinal wall cells. With that it increases the absorption of nutrients. A very important link in intestinal health.

• Dosage for dogs and cats
  • <5kg 2x daily ^1/3 capsule
  • 5-10 kg: ½ capsule twice a day
  • 10-30kg. 1 capsule twice a day
  • >30kg 2 capsules twice a day
• Instructions for use
  • We recommend using humic acid for a maximum of 6 weeks without professional advice.
  • Capsules can be opened and mixed with food. Sometimes it will be advised to take the capsules separately from the meal.
