Farm Food Rawhide® is made from dried subcutaneous connective tissue (the second strong and tough layer of the skin) of cattle. The white Farm Food Rawhide® chews come from Brazil and Europe and are made from the hides of cattle that are kept for meat production. The production company is part of a large slaughterhouse. The hides are split mechanically immediately after slaughter. The outer, indigestible, leather skin is removed for leather production. The inner layers of digestible subcutaneous connective tissue are washed and cut into pieces to the desired size.

After being folded into different shapes, the white ^Rawhide® chew bones are dried in an oven.

An important aspect of these products is that no harmful substances are used during or after production. This allows them to guarantee a clean, pure and safe product .

Farm Food Rawhide ^® bones are sturdy, hard and fully digestible. The action of saliva releases collagen , a protein compound naturally occurring in the body, during chewing.
