FungiSmart Paw Balm

Soothes and treats paws damaged by salt or frozen snow, or by walking on uneven surfaces. This balm is used to keep the skin on the dog's paws soft and supple. Accelerates the healing process of injuries.

The FungiSmart products are based on the microbiological properties of the microorganism 'Pythium oligandrum', a beautiful yeast-like organism (ocyst) that lives in the soil. As a symbiont, Pythium works together with plants and protects their roots against fungi in exchange for food. The result is a small fungus-free zone around all roots worldwide.

Pythium is non-selective and feeds on all yeasts and molds. It has the dual advantage of secreting bacteriostatic enzymes into the affected area, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth so that it is not disturbed during its work. As soon as the food source is gone, it simply returns to the soil from which it originated, allowing the host's skin flora to recover.
