Lunderland Eggshell Powder is used to add calcium to a diet that mainly consists of meat and/or to compensate for the high phosphorus content (mainly in organ meats). Eggshell powder can also be a solution for animals that cannot tolerate bone. Due to the natural origin and the very fine grinding of the eggshells, this powder has a very high bioavailability.

Calcium 38.6%, phosphorus 0.96% (the calcium/phosphorus ratio is approximately 40:1)
Other minerals: magnesium 3660 mg/kg, potassium 370 mg/kg, sodium 870 mg/kg, iron 12 mg/kg, copper 1.3 mg/kg, zinc 2.4 mg/kg

To neutralize the excess of phosphorus, a certain amount of powder should be added depending on the type of meat. Some examples:

• 1 kg beef heart: add about 6.5 grams
• 1 kg beef without fat: add about 6.5 grams
• 1 kg beef head meat: add about 5.3 grams
• 1 kg beef tripe: add approximately 1.3 grams

The above amounts only relate to the neutralization of the phosphorus surplus in raw meat and not to the total calcium requirement of an animal!
