Joint support

Lunderland Green-lipped mussel is a nutritional supplement to support your pet's joints. Green-lipped mussel powder has a high content of glycosaminoglycans. These amino sugars are necessary for the formation of cartilage and synovial fluid (joint fluid).

In case of overload of the musculoskeletal system, heavy physical exertion, faster growth or in older animals, this nutritional supplement can be useful to provide the necessary nutrients.

Taurine

Green-lipped mussels also contain a very high level of natural taurine (2.4%). Since taurine must be an essential part of cat food, this supplement can also be used to add extra taurine to, for example, a (fresh) meat meal. A natural source of taurine is highly recommended over a synthetic one. Synthetic forms of taurine are usually classified as dangerous corrosive substances that can be very dangerous if overdosed.

Nutritional supplement for dogs and cats.

Usage :
Cats and small dogs about 0.5 g per day, larger dogs up to 1 g per day, preferably several times a year for at least eight weeks. If the joints are not getting enough nutrients, the dosage can be doubled and the green-lipped mussel extract can be fed permanently.
