Devil's claw grows almost exclusively in the Kalahari desert and in Namibia. The local population has a great appreciation for this plant and its many positive effects on health. Now that there has also been interest in devil's claw from non-African countries for some time, the wild devil's claw is gradually becoming depleted. That is why the devil's claw that Lunderland uses is exclusively organically grown. This is done in a plant-friendly way without touching the main root. In this way, the survival of wild plants is not jeopardized.

Usage

Devil's claw contains a large proportion of bitter substances that can improve the secretion of digestive juices and thus also the appetite and digestion in poor eaters. In addition, the glycosides (harpagoside and harpagide) provide support for the joints after 2 to 3 weeks of intake.

Nutritional advice:
To support the joint system, we recommend mixing a dose of 2 g / 10 kg body weight with the food for 6-8 weeks. This treatment can be repeated 2 to 3 times a year. Devil's claw is ideal to combine with green-lipped mussel extract To stimulate appetite, feeding 1 g / 15 kg body weight as part of a 6 - 8 week course is sufficient. This can also be repeated 2 x 3 times a year if necessary. Complementary feeding should be avoided if there are ulcers or stones in the digestive tract.
