Lactoferrin is a natural iron-binding protein found in colostrum and saliva. It plays a key role in supporting the immune system, suppressing pathogenic microbes, strengthening the intestinal mucosal barrier, and contributing to healthy iron transport throughout the body.

This liposomal formulation ensures high bioavailability and improved absorption, even in animals with digestive disorders or chronic inflammatory processes in the gastrointestinal tract.

Composition per capsule: Lactoferrin 240 mg

Ingredients: Lactoferrin, sunflower lecithin, HPMC vega capsule

Dosage for dogs and cats – first 2 weeks:

<10 kg: ½ capsule 2x per day

10 to 30 kg: 1 capsule 2x per day

30 kg: 2 capsules twice a day

Then maintenance dose:

1x per day according to the same weight schedule

Usage:

Capsules can be opened and mixed with food, or administered whole.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to cow's milk proteins.

Side effects:

In high microbial loads, mild nausea or diarrhea may temporarily occur (detox reaction). In that case, start with a lower dosage.

Interactions:

Synergistic when used with NAC, berberine, enzymes, prebiotics, and probiotics
