PUUR Auris (oor)

For clean, healthy, non-itchy ears for dogs and cats.

Suitable for: Dog, Cat

Composition: A diluted extract of Chamomilla, Echinacea angustifolia and Ledum. A dilution of Mentholum. Alcohol 27% v/v.

Indication(s): For the ears of dogs and cats. One drop per ear per week keeps the ears clean.

Preventive/maintenance: 1-3 x per week 1 drop. If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times per day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum dosage for one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Administration Use the enclosed pipette to drip the drops into the external auditory canal. Remove any loose earwax from the auricle with cotton wool.

Advice for use: In case of ear problems in animals, go to the vet to check whether the eardrum is intact, or whether there is a grass seed (creeper) in the ear canal. The dog usually holds its head to one side. Also go to the vet if the dog suddenly becomes deaf, has balance problems, or if there is blood coming from the ear. "For clean healthy ears", this only refers to the skin on the inside of the auricle and the external auditory canal up to the eardrum. If there is hair in the ear canal, this should be removed to speed up recovery.

Duration of treatment: In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.

In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage, to one drop per ear per week.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Synergy and combinations with other products : This product can be used without any problems in combination with other natural health products and regular medication.

Side effects: To date, side effects of this product have not been reported or known. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In the event of a serious increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then slowly build up again.
