Dosage and application:

The optimal dosage 1-2 x daily:
Horse 30 drops Pony 20 drops
Dog > 25kg 20 drops
Dog 10 - 25kg 10 drops
Dog < 10kg 5 drops
Cat 3 drops 1 ml = 20 drops.
Shake well before use.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.

Administration: Give this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth or beak, possibly diluted with a little water. This product can also be given through the food or on a small piece of treat. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops through the food or on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then give it diluted with a little water or milk with a syringe directly into the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, but check whether the cat licks the drops from the paw.

Advice for use: Pay close attention to the animal's reaction. Give it the necessary rest, but also provide exercise. When exercising, it is wise to regularly take short walks with the animal. In particular, straight movements are good for keeping the joints supple, swimming is also very good for the joints if the water is not too cold. Abrupt stops and turns, such as playing with other animals and throwing sticks and balls, should be avoided. This puts too much strain on the muscles, tendons and joints. If there is pain when moving, it is wise to regularly take short walks with the horse. In particular, straight movements, walking and trotting are good for keeping the joints supple.

Duration of treatment: In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at the beginning; this product can be safely administered in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage. This product can be administered permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Synergy and combinations with other products : PUUR Plus can be combined with regular painkillers without any problems. If the animal is already using these, combine both products for the first period and if possible, gradually reduce the chemical painkillers. Observe the animal's reaction carefully. Interactions with regular or natural medicines are possible. Ginger extracts can affect the absorption process of other substances as well as blood clotting. For animals using anticoagulants or animals with a hemorrhagic diathesis, only administer in consultation with the attending veterinarian.

Contraindications: Do not give in case of renal dysfunction. Use during pregnancy only in consultation with the veterinarian.

Side effects : With a number of homeopathic and phytotherapeutic products, a short-term worsening of symptoms may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In the event of an initial worsening, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then slowly build up again. To date, side effects of this product have not been known or reported.
