Puur Vita-Min is a complete vitamin and mineral supplement for dogs. Puur Vita-Min can be given as a supplement to incomplete food, also suitable if you cook for your dog yourself. Vitamin A : has an important function in the cell division of epithelial cells and has a positive effect on eye function, growth and reproduction. Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12: The B vitamins are important for energy metabolism. They are part of many reactions that relate to the conversion of food into energy (including the citric acid cycle, glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation). They are also important in other reactions in which carbohydrates, fats and amino acids are metabolized. The B vitamins are also important for the functioning of the nervous system. Skin, hair and mucous membranes improve in condition through the use of B vitamins.
Vitamin C: activates the immune system and is important for collagen formation of tendons and ligaments. Although most animals can produce this themselves, a deficiency can occur under certain circumstances. Vitamin D: regulates calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting absorption from food in the intestines. It also ensures reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in the kidneys. It promotes bone formation and mineralization of bone tissue and stimulates the immune system. It can be produced by the body under the influence of sunlight. Horses that spend a lot of time in the stable can have a deficiency of this.
Vitamin E: has an antioxidant effect, it protects unsaturated fatty acids against free radicals. It has a positive effect on the blood vessels, prevents the formation of blood clots, improves blood circulation and strengthens the capillary walls. Vitamin E plays a role in the formation and protection of red blood cells against toxins. It supplies organs and especially the muscles with oxygen. It plays a role in the transmission of nerve impulses.
Bioflavonoids (95% Hesperidin): have an antioxidant effect and improve the absorption of vitamin C. They also ensure healthy blood vessels and good blood circulation.
Folic acid : is a B vitamin. It plays an important role in methylation processes and is therefore important in cell division and in growth and differentiation processes. It is also involved, together with vitamin B12, in the breakdown of proteins and in amino acid metabolism. Furthermore, folic acid and vitamin B12 help in the production of red blood cells.
Inositol : closely associated with choline, it is an important nutrient for brain cells; it improves stress management.
PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid): is important for the health of the intestinal tract and the skin. It is also involved in the functioning of immune cells and red blood cells.
Bamboo extract: contains Silicon. This is important for the condition of connective tissue and blood vessel walls. It ensures an increase in collagen.
Calcium : is important for bone and tooth formation and plays an important role in muscle contraction.

Dosage and application:
Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise.
The optimal dosage is 1 x daily
Dog > 25 kg 4 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg 2½ scoops
Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 scoop
1 scoop contains approximately 1 gram.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.

Administration: Moisten the powder so that it cannot be blown out of the feeding trough.

Advice for use: In order to maintain optimal resistance, it is necessary for an animal to receive all the necessary vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities. In the autumn, resistance in many dogs - just like in people - decreases somewhat due to the change in weather and the switch from summer to winter coat. To prevent an animal from becoming susceptible to diseases, a good Vitamin and Mineral supplement can be given preventively. PUUR Vitamins and Minerals contains a balanced composition of all the necessary vitamins and minerals and can be given excellently as a supplement to the food, for example for older dogs or puppies. It can also be supplemented very well as extra support after recovery from illness, for example. Contrary to what is often claimed, when supplementing with vitamin and mineral preparations it is necessary to give the supplement for a longer period of time. A one-off 'vitamin shot' per injector, as is often recommended, has little effect and certainly not in the long term. The body needs time to recover and to absorb all vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities and that cannot be done in one day!

Duration of treatment In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 2 to 6 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more weeks.

In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at the beginning, this product can safely be given in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage. This product can be given permanently.

Synergy and combinations with other products: This supplement can be combined with regular medicines.
