Hemp seed pellets for horses - 100% natural and full of essential nutrients

The Sparrow CannaHorse® organic hemp seed pellets are naturally rich in important amino acids, fatty acids, proteins, minerals, vitamins and trace elements and contain a high content of omega fatty acids, "complete" proteins and high-quality vegetable fibers. They also contain extremely well-tolerated fibers. The pellets are easily digestible, support the absorption of nutrients and increase mental focus. In contrast to hemp leaves and hemp flowers, the hemp seed and its products contain practically no THC and no CBD or other cannabinoids. The hemp seed pellets therefore have no intoxicating effect and do not make you "high". The organic hemp seed pellets prove to be very tasty and are also eaten well by picky horses. They support the immune system, metabolism, muscle building and endurance and stamina. In addition, the natural fiber supports digestion and the gastrointestinal tract. They are easily digestible, support the absorption of nutrients and increase mental focus. The fatty acids in the organic hemp seed pellets ensure healthy skin and a shiny coat. Gamma-linolenic acid Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is one of the most valuable fatty acids for supporting the immune system. It is mainly found in mother's milk. Hemp is one of the few natural sources of GLA. In sufficient quantities, GLA can significantly improve the complexion and coat. In addition, GLA activates the metabolic process quite significantly, which can have an effect on a healthy hormonal balance. A deficiency of GLA can lead to various problems such as premature aging, digestive and skin problems. It is therefore important to give the animal sufficient hemp seed grains. Preferably every day. Hemp seed grains also contain vitamin E and vitamin A (carotene). These are antioxidants that help the immune system fight damage from free radicals. Free radicals are created when the horse ingests toxins from vaccines, chemicals, pesticides, processed foods and pollution. They cause oxidative stress in the horse's body and damage cells, proteins and DNA. Antioxidants help to keep the free radicals under control and thus promote health.

Other benefits at a glance

  1. Excellent source of linoleic acid: Hemp seed pellets contain a high proportion of the essential omega-6 fatty acid, the name of which is linoleic acid (LA). Linoleic acid is a polyunsaturated fatty acid and is the most important omega-6 fatty acid for animals because it is used to make other omega-6 fatty acids. Since animals cannot make them themselves, they must ingest them with their feed. Linoleic acid is also particularly important for the health of the horse’s skin and coat, because it makes the skin permeable to water.
  2. Very easy to digest: the hemp plant is full of fiber. This is good news for horses, especially those with digestive problems who already have difficulty extracting and digesting nutrients from their diet.
  3. Contains valuable proteins: hemp contains more protein than any other plant source, except soy. However, hemp is a much better choice than soy due to the huge problems with feeding soy to animals, including food intolerances. Hemp can contain up to 33g of protein per 100g of seeds!
  4. Packed with vitamins and antioxidants: Hemp contains the minerals calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc, vitamin E, B vitamins (including folate) and a variety of antioxidants. Hemp is also the only known plant food source that provides vitamin D3.
  5. Gastrointestinal Support: Hemp provides beneficial fiber that can help remove toxins from the gastrointestinal tract and help regulate the digestive process.
  6. Supports Heart Health: Animal and human studies have shown that hemp seeds can promote a healthy cardiovascular system due to their plant fiber, protein, and healthy fat content.
