After a medical procedure, such as sterilization or stitches around the torso, the Recovery Suit® offers optimal protection. Unlike a traditional collar, the suit immediately covers sensitive areas, preventing external influences from irritating or soiling them. If your cat has a wound or stitches, it's important to check and clean them regularly. You and your veterinarian can put the suit on and take it off quickly and easily.

Please note: The Recovery Suit® Cat is not suitable for use after castration of male cats. Because the suit is designed to allow the cat to continue using the litter box, the surgical area is not protected after castration.

Hot spots and skin problems

The Recovery Suit® is the perfect solution for covering and protecting hot spots and skin problems on your cat's body. Hot spots and skin problems can lead your cat to lick themselves. This behavior releases a calming chemical in the brain. However, excessive licking can lead to infection and irritation. The suit covers the wound while still providing it with sufficient oxygen to heal. This allows the sensitive area to recover peacefully and freely without discomfort.

Break for feeding cats

The Recovery Suit® offers nursing cats the peace and quiet they deserve. By completely covering the torso, the suit helps prevent unplanned mating and supports weaning. The nipple area is protected, while the suit can be easily opened at set times to feed the puppies. Comfortable for mom, practical for you – and everything for carefree care!

Heat and mild incontinence

The Recovery Suit® helps keep your home clean and your cat comfortable during heat or mild incontinence. The shirt reduces the risk of blood and urine stains on your furniture and floor and offers space for a sanitary napkin inside or between the double layer. Unlike heat pants, the Recovery Suit® stays securely in place thanks to the convenient back closure. This way, your cat enjoys optimal protection without discomfort – and your home stays spotless!

Minimize hair in the house

Say goodbye to flying hair in your home. Cats shed primarily around their torso, and that's precisely the area the Recovery Suit® covers! Loose hair is easily caught in the shirt—all you have to do is remove it, clean it, and you're done. A smart solution for a clean home, even during shedding season.

Protective collar with collar attachment

To protect the area between the shoulder blades and neck, the suit has a longer, soft, and elastic neck band with loops for the collar, making it harder for the cat to remove. Soft edging around the legs and tail prevents chafing and cutting.

Easy access to the litter box

The shirt is completely closed for optimal protection. Thanks to its clever design, based on the cat's anatomy, the suit can be left on while using the litter box.

Secure closure with adjustable snaps

The Recovery Suit® closure prevents cats from opening it themselves, while making it easy for owners and veterinarians to put on and take off. Always close all snaps for the best fit.

Inner layer for moisture observation and a cooling pad

The light blue interior of the Recovery Suit® makes checking for fluid loss quick and easy. A sanitary pad or ice pack can be placed between the double layer in case of fluid loss.

Find the right size for the best recovery

It's important that the Recovery Suit® fits like a second skin. Not too tight, but certainly not too loose! You don't want your cat to be able to reach sensitive areas due to a loose fit. Measure your cat from the neck to the base of the tail and consult the chart to determine the correct size. If your cat is between two sizes, always choose the smaller size. Always consider the cat's coat size and body shape.
