After a medical procedure, such as sterilization or stitches around the torso, the Recovery Suit® offers optimal protection. Unlike a traditional collar, the suit immediately covers sensitive areas, preventing external influences from irritating or soiling them. If your cat has a wound or stitches, it's important to check and clean them regularly. You and your veterinarian can put the suit on and take it off quickly and easily.

Please note: The Recovery Suit® Cat is not suitable for use after castration of male cats. Because the suit is designed to allow the cat to continue using the litter box, the surgical area is not protected after castration.

Hot spots and skin problems

The Recovery Suit® is the perfect solution for covering and protecting hot spots and skin problems on your cat's body. Hot spots and skin problems can lead your cat to lick themselves. This behavior releases a calming chemical in the brain. However, excessive licking can lead to infection and irritation. The suit covers the wound while still providing it with sufficient oxygen to heal. This allows the sensitive area to recover peacefully and freely without discomfort.

Find the right size for the best recovery

It's important that the Recovery Suit® fits like a second skin. Not too tight, but certainly not too loose! You don't want your cat to be able to reach sensitive areas due to a loose fit. Measure your cat from the neck to the base of the tail and consult the chart to determine the correct size. If your cat is between two sizes, always choose the smaller size. Always consider the cat's coat size and body shape.
