Cats that suffer from irritation, frustration and listlessness can benefit from Matatabi. Matatabi sticks offer distraction and calm in stressful situations such as during a trip, moving, after family expansion, admission to a boarding house or at the vet.
Excessive tension can manifest itself in cats in different ways:

Composition: The Matatabi tree is related to the Kiwi tree and grows in Asia, especially in China and Japan. The dried twigs of this tree have a very special effect on cats. There is a substance in it that cats like, which helps them relax. Matatabi contains Actinicine and matatabi lactone. These are alkaloids that influence the nerve stimulation in the brain of Felidae. It is often seen that cats that are naturally relaxed have less interest in the sticks than cats that are under tension.

Instructions for use: You can give Matatabi (complementary animal feed) as a toy. Cats play with the stick, some chew on it or bite it to pieces. Many cats roll and rub on places where the stick or its remains have been. After playing, the cat is calmer, the pupil shrinks and it often washes and sleeps. If the bark of the stick is removed, the effect is even greater.
