Thrive Cat Wet Food Kitten Chicken

This Thrive wet food is cooked in a chicken broth with added vitamins and minerals to give your kitten a completely balanced meal. This means that this food provides everything your kitten needs and can therefore be fed on its own or mixed with dry food, depending on your kitten's preference. Kittens (and cats) are strict carnivores and do not have a dietary need for carbohydrates such as grains (e.g. rice or wheat). For this reason, our wet food for kittens is protein-focused and grain-free, with a carbohydrate content of only 0.2%. Proper hydration is vital for a healthy kitten. That’s why all Thrive wet foods are formulated with ‘free liquid’ water for optimal hydration, rather than the artificial gelling agents found in other brands. When it comes to wet food, our philosophy at Thrive is: “wetter is better!”

Nutritional advice : We recommend feeding 2-3 cans per day, depending on your kitten’s activity level and their own personal needs. Kittens begin eating solid food from around three weeks of age and are fully weaned by around eight weeks. They will need frequent small meals at first (around four or five a day), but by around six months two meals a day is usually fine. This can continue throughout their adult life, depending on your cat’s preference.
