TraumaPet Wound Gel with colloidal silver cares for open wounds. The water-based gel allows moist wound healing, which accelerates natural recovery.
TraumaPet offers two products that can care for your pet's skin and speed up recovery if an ailment occurs: wound gel and skin cream.

The wound gel has a jelly-like structure , with a moisturizing effect . The gel thrives best in a moist environment, such as fresh wounds where no crust has formed yet. It is suitable for, among other things: bite wounds, cuts, burns, or grazes.
Afterwards the skin cream can be used.

Difference between skin cream and wound gel

The TraumaPet wound gel and skin cream complement each other. The wound gel is used as a first aid in the development of various wounds.
The cream is applied as soon as the wound starts to heal (scab), or for other skin conditions such as eczema.

Advice for use:

Before applying, remove any dirt from the wound. Use your clean finger to apply the gel, ensuring it is covered in a uniform 2-3mm thick layer.
Then, if possible, wrap the wound in a bandage, and repeat this process every 12-48 hours, depending on the severity and progress of healing. If the situation does not improve within a few days, consider a visit to the vet.
It is important to keep the wound moist with the gel, as drying leads to a loss of efficiency. We recommend keeping the gel in the refrigerator, as applying a cool gel has a calming effect.

Composition of TraumaPet® Wound Gel:
Colloidal silver 400 ug Ag in 1 ml gel, purified water, carbomerum, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment.
