ESSENTIAL THE BEGINNING – LARGE BREED is specifically developed for puppies and young dogs that will weigh more than 15 kg as adults. The composition of this food is such that it perfectly supports this specific, sensitive growth phase that larger dogs go through. It is a unique meal that is prepared with 74% fresh and dried British free-range chicken, free-range British duck, Scottish game, responsibly farmed salmon and Salisbury rainbow trout, and fresh eggs.

Essentials contains a high meat content (of which at least half is fresh) supplemented with vegetables, berries, seeds, herbs, fruit, vitamins and minerals. To preserve the nutritional value of all fresh ingredients, this food is prepared at a temperature of 90°C.

Essentials is behaviourally optimised food (GGV). This is the principle of developing food that matches the natural diet of the dog. This food ensures that your dog has a stable blood sugar level. The high content of fresh meat stimulates instinctive behaviour and the low cooking temperature ensures the best nutritional values for your dog. With berries, seeds and herbs, the contents of the stomach of a prey animal are simulated.
