Hemp seed oil is the only vegetable oil that contains omega 3, omega 6 and gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) in the correct 3:1 ratio. In addition, it contains all essential amino acids, the building blocks for healthy body proteins and is rich in trace elements, vitamins E, C, B1, B2, B3 and B6, bio-active enzymes and powerful antioxidants.

Hemp oil is a high-quality plant source of alpha-linolenic acid. But it can also be given as a replacement or alternation for fish oil. While fish oils contain a high level of EPA and DHA, hemp oil is rich in alpha- but also gamma-linolenic acid (precursor of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids).
