100% organic coconut oil from the Philippines, without any additives.

Lunderland coconut oil comes from the first cold pressing of Philippine coconuts. The oil is not refined, deodorized, hardened or bleached. This preserves the intense taste of fresh coconuts. This oil is not comparable to so-called palm oils or coconut fats that have been industrially processed and have therefore lost all their valuable properties.

Lunderland coconut oil comes from plantations where agriculture is still practiced in a very traditional way. The coconuts are thrown off by hand and processed by hand up to the cold pressing, without the use of monkeys. Local processing facilities are also used for subsequent processing. In this case, the purification may not be 100% and small fibres from the skin of the coconut may pass through the filtration. These residues are then visible as small dark spots on the bottom of the jar. They do not detract from the quality of the oil at all.

Coconut oil is a solid vegetable oil at room temperature. The melting point is between 20 and 25 degrees. The oil can be used as a food supplement in both solid and liquid form. To apply to the skin or coat, it is sufficient to take a little oil in your hand and let it melt through body heat.

Coconut oil is rich in saturated fatty acid glycerides which promote a long shelf life. However, the oil is best stored in a cool and dry place. It is best to take a portion out of the jar with a spoon, without having to melt the entire jar.

Lunderland coconut oil contains a high level of lauric acid (45-50%).

External use

For external use, take a spoonful of oil from the jar and warm it until the oil melts (for example in your hand). Then it can be rubbed into the skin or coat. This makes the skin soft and smooth, dull coat gets shine and is much easier to comb.

Coconut oil also has a repellent effect on insects, especially ticks and mosquitoes. However, this is only a limited unattractive smell for these creatures, and certainly not 100% protection against vermin. Experience shows that the animals should be rubbed with coconut oil every two days, mainly on the legs, belly, neck and head.

Tip: To prevent the coat from becoming too greasy, the coconut oil can be mixed with a little alcohol.

Internal use

Of course, coconut oil can also be given as a daily food supplement, for example alternately with other oils. It serves as a quick energy supplier, just like other oils. Coconut oil can also be used as a preventative against worms, as well as in case of worm infestation.

Dosage for internal use

For daily use, approximately 1 gram per 10 kg body weight per day.

For worm infections, 1 teaspoon (5 grams) per 10 kg body weight per day for 1 week, then stop for 1 week and then repeat for another week.

Nutritional supplement for dogs and cats.

From controlled organic farming.
