PUUR Digest (spijsvertering)

For well-functioning intestines. For both thin and too thick stools. This supplement ensures a good consistency of the stool, for good intestinal function and for the removal of toxins from the gastrointestinal tract. Give PUUR Digestion for diarrhea with little water and for constipation with a lot of water.

Compound

Composition per 3 grams: Natural products, botanically defined: Psyllium Husk. Other ingredients: 625.5 mg Methylsulfonylmethane, 60.0 mg N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, 8.0 mg Magnesium (as -citrate), Fructo Oligo Saccharides and a dilution of Magnesium phosphoricum.

Additives per 3 grams: Technological additives, binding agent: 104.3 mg Bentonite. Zootechnical additives intestinal flora stabilisers: Bifidobacterium lactis (NIZO 3680 and 3882), Enterococcus faecium (NIZO 3886), Lactobacillus acidophilus (NIZO 3674), Lactococcus lactis (NIZO 3671), Lactobacillus paracasei (NIZO 3672), Lactobacillus plantarum (NIZO 3673) and Lactobacillus salivarius (NIZO 3675).

Dosage
2 x daily
Dog > 25 kg: 2 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg: 1½ scoops
Dog < 10 kg and cat: 1 scoop

1 scoop contains approximately 3 grams.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.

If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. If there is improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

Administration
PUUR Digestion can be given through the food. Because this powder contains herbs, it is recommended to start with a small amount to let the animal get used to the taste. Moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the food bowl. In case of constipation, give it with sufficient water and ensure that there is always enough fresh drinking water available.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Each animal reacts differently to the dosage mentioned. The dosage is quite precise, look carefully at the behavior of the animal. If the result is insufficient, slowly increase the dosage. When the desired behavior is achieved, a maintenance dosage can be sought, slowly reducing to approximately half of the indicated daily dosage.

Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label.
