Hotspots are annoying spots on the dog's skin. Continuous licking makes the hotspot worse and the vicious circle is often difficult to break. With the drops of Puur, the irritation of the skin is quickly reduced. Toxins are also removed more quickly.

Dosage
Shake well before use
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.
If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. If there is improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.
With some dilutions and extracts a short-term worsening can occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of a serious increase halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then slowly build up again.
Administration
Give this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal because the product works better if it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of treat. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then give it diluted with some water or milk with a syringe directly into the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, but check whether the cat licks the drops from the paw.
Duration of treatment
Always provide good quality food. An affected area of the skin in the form of a hotspot usually occurs in spring or autumn. A semi-annual drainage cleansing treatment with reduces the severe skin reaction. Some long-haired breeds, especially those with a dense, sultry undercoat are more susceptible to the development of hotspots, which often also reveal themselves after swimming. Maintaining an optimal coat condition helps prevent hotspots.
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at the beginning; this product can safely be administered in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.
This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.
