Vetramil paw wax with honey is specially developed to protect the paw pads of dogs. In both summer and winter, the paw pads come into direct contact with extreme conditions such as hot asphalt, ice, salt, snow and rough surfaces. This can cause skin damage and painful cracks. The high concentration of enzyme-rich honey in Vetramil Wax helps to quickly heal cracks. Beeswax forms a protective layer, which keeps the paw pads in good condition under all conditions. The bitter taste prevents dogs from licking the wax.
Natural resources
Honey is made by honeybees that collect nectar from flowers. The nectar is concentrated by honeybees into pure, enzyme-rich honey. Honey has been known for its beneficial properties for the skin since ancient times. Natural antioxidants and enzymes purify and soothe the skin. Almond oil contains a high concentration of vitamin E, which protects the skin from sunlight and oxygen radicals. Beeswax forms a water-repellent layer, which offers protection against weather conditions and extreme external influences. The essential oils in Vetramil Wax are good for firm skin and help prevent damage.
When and how to use
Outdoors, Vetramil Paw Wax is used to prevent damage to the paw pads due to extreme conditions, such as hot asphalt, snow and ice. Indoors, Vetramil Paw Wax is excellent for preventing slipping on a smooth floor, because it makes the paw pads less slippery. For an optimal effect, apply a layer of wax to all paw pads several times a day.
For which animals suitable
Vetramil Paw Wax is specially developed to protect the paw pads of dogs. The bitter substance denatonium benzoate is safe and gives the wax a bitter taste even at a very low concentration. This prevents dogs from licking the ointment. Vetramil Wax contains only natural preservatives and is free of parabens. Safe to use on cats and also on horses. Horses with dry, brittle hooves and, for example, a chapped coronary wall.
