Tabby Tiger NipNaps

  • Different varieties: Catnip, Valerian, Tiger Mix and Matatabi
  • No chemicals added
  • Delicious herbs, each with their own effect

If only the best is good enough for your cats, then with NipNaps we offer the highest quality cat herbs available today. NipNaps are always packaged in small doses in airtight jars, so that the scent is preserved for a long time and the catnip does not mix with the scent of plastic packaging as is offered in most cases. NipNaps tries to keep the herbs 99.9% pure so that your cat can enjoy them in a safe and above all healthy way. NipNaps cat herbs do not contain any chemicals or sprays and only dried chicken manure is used in the season to increase the biological activity in the soil.

Valerian 20g :

While the human response is one of sedation and relaxation, cats are driven into a euphoric frenzy by the scent of valerian, affecting the domestic cat in a similar way to catnip. To humans, valerian has an unusual odor that is similar to sweaty socks. Cats have been naturally attracted to valerian for centuries. In clinical studies, cats that consumed 10 mg/kg of valerian extract were shown to show a significant decrease in anxiety, fear, and aggressive behavior.

Why give valerian to my cat?

The root contains valerianone which produces a similar response in cats as the nepetalactone in catnip. It will give your cat a little energy boost followed by a 'zen' period where he or she can completely relax. Is it OK for my cat to eat valerian? Valerian is a safe herb for your cat, but we do not recommend letting them eat the root. For maximum enjoyment, it is best incorporated into toys.

Tiger mix 20g :

NipNaps Tiger Mix is a blend of the best cat herbs that we have sorted purely on quality. The difference with the other NipNaps herbs is that with Tiger Mix we use a limited dosage of all our herbs, both catnip, valerian and matatabi which is just enough to get the right scent that cats love.

Catnip fine 13g :

Because your cat will enjoy catnip, this is a great treat to use in training, or to encourage your cat to use a scratching post or sleep in their own bed. It is also a great way to encourage your cat to exercise, it can even help your cat relax. Whatever the reason, it is fun!

Can my cat eat catnip?

NipNaps catnip is all natural and organic, and is completely safe to ingest. In fact, in the wild, wild cats will sometimes eat a little catnip as it aids in digestion.

Is too much catnip harmful to my cat?

Technically no. Most cats seem to sense when they have had enough. As with all things in life, too much of anything can be bad. In very rare cases, some cats may cough and throw up a hairball if exposed to too much catnip. If your cat has never had catnip before, we recommend introducing it slowly in small amounts. If you are unsure, always consult your veterinarian.

Matatabi 13g :

The Matatabi tree is related to the Kiwi tree and grows in Asia, especially in China and Japan. The dried pieces of this tree have a very special effect on cats. There is a substance in it that cats like, which helps them relax. Matatabi contains Actinicine and matatabi lactone. These are alkaloids that influence the nerve stimulation in the brain of Felidae. It is often seen that cats that are naturally relaxed have less interest in the Matatabi than cats that are under tension.

The NipNaps 'Matatabi' is a very finely ground mix of matatabi twigs. You can use the matatabi herbs to sprinkle on the scratching post, favorite toys or just somewhere in the house.
