The composition of Dog Lovers Gold Original contains no less than four different types of protein in the first 10 ingredients, for a truly optimal protein balance: Lamb meal, Salmon, Eggs and Chicken meal, and... NO wheat, corn or soy! The important fats consist of very healthy salmon oils, chicken fat and linseed. These ingredients provide abundantly with the important Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) and are considered to be among the best and most efficient animal fat sources. The carbohydrates consist exclusively of gluten-free rice and selected vegetables and fruit. Rice is hypoallergenic and rich in minerals and only rarely causes intestinal disorders in dogs or cats.
