The Science Behind The Hunting Feeder

Cats are wonderful, but unfortunately they can also exhibit behavioral problems such as aggression, gobbling and vomiting, and urinating outside the litter box. This behavior can be caused by the use of a food bowl. A cat's stomach is no bigger than a ping-pong ball (the size of a mouse) and in the wild a wild cat spends about 80% of its waking hours hunting for food. Cats must therefore be able to hunt and play on several small portions of food per day. If they cannot do this, it can lead to behavioral problems.
